Rooms and availability
Everything was great, and Helen, the proprietor, was a wealth of knowledge who was never too busy to answer our myriad of questions. The location was perfect and there was wonderful and inexpensive food available at a restaurant very close by. We also loved the fact that there was information available for a laundry service. The room and dining room were impeccable.
Our twin room accomodated three people but there was just one small towel rack in the bathroom, and no shelf in the shower enclosure for soap and/or shampoo. Very minor issues, overall.
I liked the friendliness of the owner and the clean rooms which were serviced daily
Nothing much. The rooms were a little cramped for space and it is a bit far out of town
i was there just for the rally and was a short stay to just drop my bags in that night and leave that morning, the staff were lovely, when we went out on the town i and had came home late and lost my patner and had no key, embarrassingly had to wake someone up to get it, but they were perfectly fine with me and also we slept it in through breakfast and they let us sleep in another 2 hour past checking time, which was very nice of the, and only for we had then woke ourselves without knocks on the doors, i tried to tip them but they wudnt even take the full amount from us as we missed the breakest, even though they had cooked for us so i thought they were overly generorous, plus the fact we were offered tea and toast again before we left even though it was drawing 3 past hours of checkin time, yes the people were great and the prices well worth it, wud def stay again, very happy with the place
I have nothing to complain at all. Rooms were clean, tidy and big enough. Breakfast very tasty. The owner of the house was very nice lady and she was taking good care of us during breakfast making sure we don't miss anything. Will def stay again.
The proprietor Ann was a very warm friendly lady, who was always aproachable. The breakfast was lovely with fresh home cooked bread and a variety of cereals fruit and youghurts. The bedroom was immaculately clean. With a lovely en suite. The Glendale is a lovely quiet relaxing place to stay. We liked the fact that we also had free internet access so we could plan our next day activities.
There was nothing to dislike
It's location and friendliness of the owner , would gladly stay again if we are in the area
The homemade bread; the comfortable bed; the helpfulness of the owner; just everything
Glendale house has a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Anne is a lovely lady, the rooms were spotless and it's definitely value for your money!
Glendale House was absolutely gorgeous, the owner could not have been more friendlier, the food was lovely and she was very welcoming as we did not get there till late a lovely cup of tea and sandwiches was made for us as a welcome. The room was lovely, cosy, comfortable and I would stay there again no problem.
When we arrived we got a very warm welcome from the owner of the house, who offered us tea and coffee. The house looked nice and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the lady of the house was very pleasant and helpful, she even rang around local places and helped us get information we required. Breakfast was just ok, the sausages were not very good, they must be the cheaper versions Overall our stay was very good; I would recommend this guest house to anyone who wanted a relaxed stay in Killarney
The only complaint I had was the television in our room was not working; there must have been a fault with the aerial.
Everything was lovely. owner was so helpful. Booked us resturants, taxis. Was our personal tourist information. Lovely sitting room we could use which was great as there was three of us with our teenage children. Breakfast fab. Best homemade bread ever! Lovely rooms. In fact perfect/
Nothing- we loved everything
The owner was nice but not overwhelming. Room was nice and tidy. Good value and big tasty breakfast.
